1. Who and what

Car Logbook is a digital logbook for vehicles, provided by Bukkøy AS, organisation no. 933209326 (Norway), support@carlogbook.no. By using the app you accept these terms.

2. What the app is, and is not

The app helps you keep track of service, inspections, reminders and costs. It is not an official register and does not replace the workshop's service book, the registration certificate or official inspections. The information in the app is what you or others have entered. We do not verify it.

The “History check” feature points to patterns in the log, for example many entries made on the same day. It is an aid, not a conclusion that anything is wrong or false. A buyer should always ask for documentation.

3. Account and two phones

You need an account to use the app. The account owner signs in with e-mail and can connect one extra phone with a one-time code, and remove it again. The second phone is covered by the owner's subscription. You are responsible for whom you give the code to.

4. Trial and subscription

5. Your data and your responsibility

6. Handing over a vehicle

When you hand a vehicle to a buyer you share the history you choose in a code. Once the buyer has entered the code, the buyer has their own copy, and you can put your vehicle in the archive.

7. Liability

We do our best to keep the app working and secure, but cannot promise it is always free of errors or interruptions. We are liable under Norwegian law. We are not liable for losses caused by incorrect information entered in the app, or for data you have not copied. Your statutory consumer rights cannot be waived by these terms.

8. Ending

You can delete your account in the app at any time. We may close an account that is used in breach of these terms, and will tell you if we do.

9. Changes, governing law and complaints

We may change the terms and will tell you in the app about important changes. Norwegian law applies. You can complain to us at support@carlogbook.no, and as a consumer to the Norwegian Consumer Authority or the Consumer Disputes Tribunal.
